· Our baby acts completely like a newborn, with his/her eyes opened when awake and closed when sleeping and is settling into more of a routine for sleeping & awake times.
· Pudding has learned to blink and can also see more clearly when there is a bright light on my stomach; he/she probably has the outline of all my organs memorised!
· Antibodies from my blood are being transferred to our little one. These immunities continue to build until birth; then breast milk will add even more protection against disease.
· Although not quite fully formed, our little baby’s liver is now capable of processing a certain amount of waste.
· In general, most of our child’s prenatal physical development is pretty much up to snuff and ready for the outside world.
· Pudding has already turned to a head-down position in preparation for birth and may be settling into the pelvis with his/her head pressing against your cervix.
· Fingernails have reached the end of the fingertips now. Pudding may scratch his/her face even before he/she is born!
· Our little one’s length is 17.7 inches (45cm) and weight is 4.7 pounds (2146 g).
