Just another week plodding along, Pudding is getting cuter and fatter in preparation for meeting us!
· Pudding’s head is in proportion with body now and appears more and more like a newborn each and every day!
· Fat continues to accumulate under Pudding’s skin — our little one has arduously managed to accumulate enough baby fat to account for nearly 3.5% of their overall body weight in preparation for entering the *real world*.
· Our baby’s brain can control primitive breathing and body temperatures.
· Pudding’s eyes can move in their sockets and soon he/she will be able to follow a blinking light.
· Our baby is increasingly sensitive to changes in light, sound, taste, and smell!
· Another fantastic accomplishment: Pudding’s spleen is now in charge of hematopoiesis—the name for the process involved in building up certain important blood components.
· Pudding is also moving from side to side, but probably still is head up. In the next few weeks, he will move to the head down birthing position. At times you may feel as if he is performing somersaults for a circus act! Note: I mostly feel kicks and punches on both of my sides at the same time, so I think Pudding is actually horizontal most of the time!
· Pudding’s length is now approximately 15.2 inches (38.6cm) and weight is 2.54 pounds (1153gm)

Oh, I love these weekly updates although I am a little worried. Arky was taking pics of pudding on sunday and this update says that she (or he, i seriously dont mind although i would like to win a bet!) is sensitive to light. Will they still be okay???
I’m sure little Eugene or Mildred will be fine! (Didnt want to give away the names!)
Love ya heaps and heaps!
